Garden Birds

Female House Sparrow
In the sunshine yesterday, I took a few photos of the birds which are in the garden every day.

They were all delightful, especially the Starling in its spanking new plumage - who says we don't have colourful birds in the UK!
Male House Sparrow
These two House Sparrow were enjoying the sunshine by the pool, dipping into one of the puddles for a wash now and then, and feeding in the shrubs and bushes nearby.

The rest of the photos were snapped as the birds enjoyed the seeds dropped by others on the feeders.   They have a wide variety of seeds, fat balls and dried mealworms spread across the border.   Their antics are amazing to watch and enjoy.
