Autumn in Hampshire

Nuthatch

Over 80 species seen in appalling weather - we had to completely abandon the great outdoors on Thursday - but the highlights for me were;
Coal Tit

Osprey - juvenile perched for all to see at Blashford Lakes, and had been there for three weeks, Brambling and Siskin, a late Whinchat, several Stonechat and best of all, fantastic views of Goshawk - a female flying low over bracken at Bishops Dyke gave two fly-pasts and was the highlight for me.

Brambling
