Spring nearly sprung

Just been in the garden, doing a little tidying, not too much - my ecological beliefs are more than out-weighed by my laziness when it comes to gardening.

However, in the warmth of the sun I found five ladybirds, three bees (one a huge female), a shield bug and a broken egg which had been predated and dropped on the shingle.

Primroses, shepherd's purse, choysia, violets and daffodils are all in bloom and shrubs are budding. What a great time of year the spring is.
